The Outdoors. A man's paradise. Complete and utter freedom. No dishes. And sometimes fire. What else does a man need?
25 March 2005- Today was supposed to be another campout with the Scoots. Obviously something happened, otherwise I wouldn't be writing this. The campout was cancelled due to the Pansyness Factor (i.e. it wasn't perfect weather so the other leaders didn't want to go). Too bad I was really looking forward to it. At least we have the wonderful opportunity to do it again in a couple of weeks...
27 January 2005- Last weekend I had the...um...opportunity...to go on a camp out with a bunch of 12 and 13 year-old Boy Scouts. And the peasants rejoiced. When we got home. Although it was January, there was a very small essence of winter camping involved. Mostly the just the cold part. Otherwise, there was no snow, plenty lots of mud, and a little bit of green grass. Great fun.
I wish camping with those Boy Scouts was this luxurious. This is Kyle's house. With his 11 kids, 4 dogs, and a 'possum.
