Well, well, well... You found the site all about me.
I am originally from a little town called Wasilla, AK. It spells 'All I Saw' backwards. That's the most interesting thing about Wasilla. It's kind of a podunk town about 40 miles north of Anchorage.
My family is a large one. I have four older sisters and one younger sister and brother. Everyone has moved out of the house for the moment and Mom and Dad are starting to get a little stir crazy I'm sure. All of my older sisters will be married by the end of April, which is exciting news for all of us... In fact the oldest sister, Missy, has been married the longest to a pretty good guy who honestly loves his family. They're living in Oregon with the next oldest, Linda, who is getting married again (after losing her husband in a climbing accident) in April. Good luck, Andrew. Good luck.
Patience lives in Wisconsin while her hubby finishes up graduate work at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He's studying Chemical Engineering, so...well, what can ya do? Next sister up is living in North Dakota. Our pity goes out to them. Fortunately, they'll be moving this month back home to Alaska when Nick's tour of duty at the native hospital is over. Then there's me. More about that later. Sorry.
Ian is out serving missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Iin Toronto, Canada (respectively). Hoorah for them. If you see them, let 'em in. Even if it's just for lemonade.
Brittany just got back from a mission in San Bernadino, CA. Apparently it was great. Now she thinks Mexicans are the coolest thing since
Currently I live in Utah while I attend school. That's been going on for about a million years or so. As of now, I'm studying to be a mechanical engineer and should be finished in about a year and a half.
I do have a beautiful wife with whom I have been married for about 15 months now, and I still love it. I have no idea why she married me, and apparently neither does anyone else. Last time she came to visit me at the shop, one of the 'experienced' ladies in the key office asked the same question: "She seems like a really nice girl. Why did she marry Justin?" I guess that means I did something right... We don't have any kids, but they are in the future. Actually, they're probably closer than anyone else thinks. But not yet.
Melissa is from the 'lovely' state of Louisiana. Her family is somewhat smaller than mine, but they make up for it with their craziness. Her parents are home alone now and retired as of January. The oldest and only boy is currently playing in the Air Force rock band as their percussionist, and was almost going to Iraq to put on a show for the troops over there, but complications with a surgery have prevented that (for the moment). The next oldest lives here in UT about an hour and a half from us. Her and her husband have pretty cute little boys, which is why we go visit sometimes. The next oldest lives about 10 minutes from us which is why we go visit the other one sometimes. She's looking for someone to make cute kids with. Suggestions would be appreciated.
As far as things that we like to do, you may have been able to guess with all the different side buttons. I go shooting (skeet, trap, sporting clays, pistol, rifle, whatever I've got) as much as possible, whenever anyone will go with me, and school work permitting. Melissa enjoys decorating cakes and she's starting to get into painting. We go walking and running together and I'm trying to convince her that she wants to go shooting with me. That would be a first. Otherwise, we are enjoying our time together racing my wedding present: remote control cars.
