WELCOME!!!

Please feel free to use my web-enhanced unit.

My name is Melissa DeAvila and I have developed a web-enhanced unit in my LIST 4373 class in order to develop students interest in reading content area tradebooks through integrating social studies activities, children's literature and technology.

Together we will explore the life of a very important man in history. This man is Louis Braille. Louis Braille invented Braille, a world-wide system used by blind and visually impaired people for reading and writing.

In this web-enhanced unit we will explore the life of Louis Braille, his accomplishments and legacy.

Lets get started!
